The Benefit of Getting Lost

Last week, my family tackled the Great Vermont Corn Maze!! It took us 2 hours and 45 mins to finish.

We basically were lost for close to 3 hours…and we loved it!

Facilitators and L&D professionals, please let your learners get lost every so often. Don’t over plan your workshops so every single moment is predetermined. There is magic in the unknown. There is magic and a sense of discovery in the unknown. Don’t take that away from your learners.

Finally, for those of you traveling to Vermont in the fall, you MUST visit the Great Vermont Corn Maze. It’s a must for anyone who loves puzzles!
